Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team in Manheim, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of staff payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles. You will also handle the maintenance of updated payroll procedures, manage payroll taxes, and coordinate with the Human Resources department on various employee matters.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all staff payroll
- Develop systems and protocols for the collection, calculation, and entering of pay data
- Maintain an updated procedure manual for payroll processing
- Advise management on pay practices related to FLSA, fringe benefit reporting, W-9 and W-4 recording
- Process monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end reports and reconcile W-2 information for accuracy
- Coordinate with the Human Resources department on employee leaves of absence and maintain accurate records of employee unemployment and disability insurance payments
- Process wage garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner
- Support the annual budgeting process by working closely with CFO, HR Officer, and Management in analysis of payroll costs by department/cost center
- Maintain and update all employee files in ADP including transfers, promotions, supervisor changes, and other employee updates
- Track training for all and create reports for HQ audit
- Maintain staffing and budget sheets associated for staffing reports
- Handle HCM entries, upkeep, and monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to support HQ
- Generate turnover, headcount, staffing, and other analytic reports to support HR and HQ needs.
- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
- Proficient in using Ceridian software
- Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
- Knowledge of Benefit Functions
- Demonstrated experience with Automated Payroll
- Proven ability to handle Payroll for Over 500 Employees
