Description:

Our Client is a market leading organisation, committed to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. The People and Culture portfolio plays a vital role in shaping the university’s workforce strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team on a 12-month FTC, contributing to the organisation’s ongoing success!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data models for payroll remediation calculations, including monitoring and reporting on remediation payment progress.
  • Lead the implementation of payroll analytics and insights to support critical business decisions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain payroll audit compliance reporting.
  • Design, develop, and produce data models and reports on payroll remediation and business as usual activities.
  • Provide high-level data insights and advice to relevant working groups/committees.
  • Facilitate payroll reporting sessions with key People and Culture staff to foster transparency and business improvement.
  • Support the Senior Manager, Payroll Compliance and Operations, with financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Contribute to business continuity, critical incident response, risk management, and policy initiatives within the function.

About You:

  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement payroll remediation calculations and models.
  • High-level ability to interpret payroll data and understand legislative requirements.
  • Technical expertise in report writing and data analytics for process and technology improvements.
  • Excellent relationship management, consulting, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach colleagues.
