Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The purpose of this Payroll Administrator role is to process payroll/payrolls in line with financial policies and
procedures and ensure payments are made in line with payroll deadlines. The role will also carry out
administrative tasks related to the end-to-end payroll processing as well general administration duties primarily
in the area of pension, fleet and company expenses management. The successful candidate will have an
analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland payroll & benefits process, from coordinating at data collection stage to post calculation stage.
  • Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of monthly payroll processing and assisting with data input as necessary.
  • Process new hires, changes, and terminations in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain and review payroll inputs such as pay, deductions, and taxes.
  • Responsible for timely and professional resolution of any employee payroll related queries.
  • Respond to inquiries on payroll related questions from employees and external contacts.
  • Communicate and actively partner with HR, Finance, Areas Sales Managers and other management as needed on payroll related matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with Revenue under new PAYE modernisation, and submission of Revenue returns & HMRC.
  • Processing bank files via internet banking.
  • Responsible for completing payroll reports and controls for finance and audit.
  • Identifying areas for improvement from a technical / administration perspective.
  • Liaise with Company Auditors, Revenue and HMRC as and when required.
  • Remain up to date with accounting practice developments and take ownership of their own continuous professional development including attendance at relevant seminars.
  • Carry out all assigned administrative tasks to a high professional standard and showing initiative on how administrative processes can be improved/streamlined.
