  • Independently process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring to audit time & attendance system for integrity.
  • Administer employee benefit plans from enrollments, changes, and terminations, to ownership of insurance billing. Identifying and addressing errors in a timely manner to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage Open Enrollment period to include company communication, education, Workday configuration, processing, and transmission of enrollment data to vendors.
  • Assist with Leave Management, handling employee LOA requests in compliance with company policies, and federal and state laws.
  • Own and continually enhance onboarding and Benefits Orientation for all new hires.
  • Audit HRIS to ensure data integrity and quality, including management of personnel files.
  • Act as primary point person for the annual 401(k) Questionnaire and audit.
  • Represents and holds oneself accountable toward Talking Rain’s culture.
  • Continuously expand Workday knowledge in core areas, including but not limited to HCM, Payroll, Benefits and Business Process design to support business and team needs via Workday online resources.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be a key player on the People team, performing essential operational functions for the company. From administering multi-state payroll for the Company, assisting Rain Makers as they take leaves of absence, to maintaining and helping improve our HRIS, all while serving as a go-to for Rain Makers when it comes to People Operations.
Reports to: Payroll & Benefits Manager

Location: Hybrid at our Preston, WA office 3+ days a week

  • Life happens and we know it. In-office days and hours are dependent on department and business needs, so as long as you’re honest about your needs, we will do what we can to support you when things pop up.

Annual Bonus Potential: 6% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.
Base Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience)
