Responsibilities:

As part of the Stantec Payroll team you will be responsible for:

  • Accurate processing of payroll payments to approximately 2,300 Australia based employees.
  • Maintenance of employee records.
  • Responding to queries from employees, HR, and business leaders.
  • Working with the team to investigate and resolve any issues in a timely manner

Key components of this role include:

  • Australia Payroll experience, at least 2-4 years.
  • PayGlobal experience or exposure to a payroll software.
  • A sound understanding of Australian Payroll legislation including superannuation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills – with the ability to stay calm!
  • Enjoy working with a team of people who like to have a laugh and can laugh at themselves
