JOB SUMMARY:
Bklis Consults is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team. The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in payroll processing or related administrative role.
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
- Calculate overtime, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
- Process new hires, terminations, and changes in payroll status.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance.
