JOB SUMMARY:

Bklis Consults is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team. The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing or related administrative role.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees.
  • Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Calculate overtime, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
  • Process new hires, terminations, and changes in payroll status.
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Generate payroll reports as needed.
