We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Associate to join our team. As a Payroll Associate, you will be responsible for processing weekly payroll, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with payroll policies and procedures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, including reviewing timesheets and payroll reports for accuracy.
- Manage payroll deductions and resolve managers’ payroll inquiries promptly.
- Assist with payroll adjustments, prepare payroll accruals, and reconcile W2 data to ensure compliance.
- Update and maintain payroll policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with HR on leave requests, policy exceptions, and employee records management.
- Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions as needed, contributing to overall financial operations.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 1+ years of payroll experience or 2+ years of accounting office experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and payroll software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations is a plus.
