Description:

We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator who will provide administrative support to ensure compliant, accurate and on time payroll processing, along with, effective and efficient HR administration, including but not limited to, HR process, file maintenance, HRIS entry and other administrative duties as assigned.

Cryopak helps to maintain the integrity of our customer’s products through the design, testing and manufacturing of packaging and materials for shipping cold chain products. We also provide the hardware and software for temperature verification along the distribution process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education Requirements: Degree or Certification in Human Resources, Accounting or other related field preferred. Preferred Canadian Payroll attestation
At least 2 years related experience required.
Experience using ADP Workforce Now or any other HRIS or payroll system,
MS office, Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.

Responsibilities:

Processes bi-weekly payroll with ADP Workforcenow and associated tasks for all Canadian employees.
Handles the onboarding process.
Processes new hires, employee change, termination, and other employee actions in the ADP HRIS and Payroll systems according to established HR processes.
Administers employee benefit plans, including enrollments, employee changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Refers more complex questions to the appropriate HR staff member.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
Assists with clerical recruiting activities.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Prepare bi-weekly manual punch cards for production agency employees.
Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed. Refers to employee handbook and formal HR processes prior to taking action.
Plan and facilitate company events for the Montreal site.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
