Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in Singapore.
  • Strong understanding of Singaporean payroll regulations, CPF Act, Income Tax Act, and other relevant legislation.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Singaporean labor laws and regulations, including the Employment Act and CPF Act.
  • Calculate salaries, bonuses, deductions, and allowances accurately, including CPF contributions, taxes, and other statutory payments.
  • Review and verify employee timesheets, leave records, and other relevant data to ensure accuracy of payroll inputs.
  • Handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll-related matters and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings, including CPF contributions, tax returns, and year-end documentation (e.g., IR8A).
  • Stay updated on changes to Singaporean payroll regulations and tax laws, and ensure payroll processes remain compliant.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Assist in payroll audits and compliance checks as required.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes and integrate with HRIS systems.
  • Administrative duties, like purchasing of office utility items, raising purchase order via SAP.Provide support for ad-hoc payroll-related projects and administrative initiatives.
