Indaver is now constructing a 595,000 tonne energy-from-waste plant as part of an Integrated Waste Management facility in Essex. Over a year’s worth of groundworks have already been carried out and construction work has now commenced with piling activities on site. This will be one of the largest energy-from-waste plants in the UK and you will be working with an experienced international team of engineers to take the project from groundworks to commissioning (2.5years) and beyond.
We now have an excellent opportunity within the Irish & UK HR Team to help develop the HR footprint at the Rivenhall site and throughout the UK.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for the payroll activities as well as benefit management in order to ensure that employees are paid and informed regarding any compensation and benefit matters in a timely and accurate manner. Provide information and advice to all stakeholders within the legal and company framework and guidelines. Provide HR administration support to HR manager, HRBPs, line managers and employees.

Day-to-day duties include, but are not restricted to:

  • The full management of the company’s payroll in order to process salaries correctly and on time in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Timely and correct processing of data and mutations in the HR software
  • As a professional service provider, explaining updates in compensation and benefits legislation to HR colleagues so that they themselves or through the HR Business Partners/Advisor can provide correct information to employees and advise them in their choice
  • Acts as first-line contact regarding payroll & benefits related questions for the managers, employees and HR colleagues so HR is experienced as a customer-focused and expert service provider
  • Ensure all necessary onboarding documentation is completed accurately and in line with regulatory processes
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with data protection laws
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide information, guidance and support regarding HR policies and procedures via designated mailbox
  • Knowledge management of HR information documents

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Relevant degree or relevant payroll(UK and/or Ireland) experience
  • Associate CIPD membership
  • 4-5 years of working experience in a similar position
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Strong numerical written and verbal skills
  • HR Support experience
  • Labour law regulations
  • Payroll procedures & systems
  • Must be eligible to be able to work in the UK
