The Plan Sponsor Administration team links people, technology and expert services to simplify group benefits administration and provide a consistent, powerful member and client experience. Our team supports our Group Benefits clients, coordinating efforts to provide world class benefits administration and customer service.

Plan Sponsor Administration is looking for a PAD & Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, influential and passionate professional who is committed to building solid relationships while delivering on initiatives in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with the client and the client’s payroll provider to establish a payroll feed, set up the payroll interface(s) record keeping system and confirm integrity of test files sent during implementation.
  • Participate in internal and external payroll project team meetings.
  • Focus on escalated payroll plans and issues that are impacting the implementation timeline and ensure they are resolved before handing off to the in-force payroll team.
  • Process payrolls and serve as main payroll contact for “live” clients that have not yet transitioned to the in-force payroll administration team.
  • Act in a project manager role and have ownership of in-force plan payroll provider changes.
  • Attend training as required to stay current with system and product enhancements and process changes or improvements.
  • Assist with procedure development and management.
  • Act as the point of contact for escalated requests from both internal and external customers.
  • Identify client needs, issues and perceptions and develop action plans to ensure a positive client and member experience.
