About the role:
The organization we are working with is a well-known leading name in its field. They are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer Manager who would like to work in a dynamic environment. This is a permanent position to join a growing thriving team.
As the Payroll Officer Manager you will ensure everything smoothly, efficiently and remains compliant managing a collaborative team, taking a hands on approach. The role comes with a competitive base salary of $160-170k + super, depending on experience

What will you be doing?

  • Ensure payroll is executed accurately and on time as per employment awards and legislation
  • Maintain and implement up to date information on changes to payroll and taxation legislation
  • Promote and implement new payroll procedures to the team
  • Identify, establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide expert advice to the senior leadership team on payroll issues and suggest relevant updates or solutions.
  • Ensure the payroll team receive appropriate training and continued learning and provision

About you:

To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have:

  • Strong experience with payroll systems and implementation of new systems, specifically iChris/Chris21 and Kronos
  • Strong understanding of awards and interpretation
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external
  • Strong leadership skills, working collaboratively with various teams within a business
