Description:

Are you an experienced payroll leader with a passion for leadership and a knack for managing complex payroll operations? Robert Half has partnered with a firm seeking a Director of Payroll to lead their domestic and international payroll teams. If you excel in providing strong leadership, managing escalations, and fostering positive employee relations, we want to hear from you! This role is hybrid located in Brickell.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPP designation preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management roles, with a track record of managing domestic and international payroll operations.
Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with experience in ADP or similar platforms preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all aspects of the payroll function, including domestic and international payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the payroll team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Manage escalations and resolve complex payroll issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of payroll activities with overall business objectives.
Oversee employee relations matters related to payroll, including addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
