About The Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a self-driven individual to join the team as a Payroll Officer at our Central Office in Burswood on a Permanent Full-time basis.
This role offers a unique blend of billings/invoicing and payroll components allowing variety in our pleasant working environment. Collectively the team process payroll for over 3500 staff and billings for over 2500 residents.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Providing guidance to site administration staff on payroll and billing practices.
  • Processing fortnightly payroll for facility staff.
  • Interpreting Enterprise Agreements
  • Ensure compliance with Agreements and relevant legislation.
  • Ad hoc payroll and billing administration tasks.
  • Producing fortnightly/monthly invoices and statements for our residents.
  • Completing resident information including receipts, monthly processing, and refunds.
  • Liaising with resident families in relation to monthly invoices and statements.
  • Timely processing of payments and accuracy of data.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Aged Care sector experience desirable, not essential.
  • Either previous billing experience or previous payroll experience.
  • Significant experience in using computerised payroll and billing systems.
  • Experience with Chris21 & Epicor Financials would be a definite advantage, although not essential.
  • Customer service ethos, with focus on meeting deadlines, quality, and accuracy.
  • Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
