Description:

As a Payroll Officer at UnitingCare, you will be responsible for the reliable, accurate and timely processing of transactional pay related activities made in accordance with the policies and procedures of UnitingCare as well as the governing legislation.

Your part in our UnitingCare team

  • Undertake full pay processing on a rostered basis through Aurion
  • Employee file maintenance, undertake time data checks and corrections, process leave and add both new starters to the system and process employee terminations.
  • Ensure all payroll processing complies with the internal and external audit requirements.
  • Accurately interpret Awards, Employment Agreements and other relevant legislation.
  • Assist with the internal and external audit activity when required.
  • Ensure that staff are paid in accordance with their Terms and Conditions of employment.
  • Undertake EOM reporting activity on a rostered basis and assist with the EOY reporting activity.
