Payroll Officer role available in Brisbane on a permanent part-time basis
Your new company
This growing company that operates in a thriving sector are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their small team on a permanent part-time basis (3 days per week). The position will be based in their Brisbane Inner City offices which are centrally located close to various public transport options and lunchtime dining destinations.
Your new role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Setting up new employees on the payroll system
  • Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll
  • Handle payroll enquiries from employees
  • Payroll tax and superannuation payments
  • Payroll reconciliations and reporting

What you’ll need to succeed:

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

  • End to end payroll experience working in a medium pay environment
  • Experience working with multiple payroll systems
  • Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with various key stakeholders in the business
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
