    We are working alongside multiple well-established clients across Perth who are seeking experienced Payroll Officers to join their Teams for short to long term temporary contracts.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

  • Ensure timely and accurate coding of the fortnightly payroll in line with the current Enterprise Agreement, policies and procedures
  • Prepare complex payroll information for data input and assist with quality control and maintenance of records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide a responsive, accurate client advisory service on payroll matters, resolve enquiries and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately and system integrity is maintained.
  • Responsible for performing all functions and maintenance of our enterprise and payroll systems

THE ROLE

  • Supporting end to end payroll function for approx. 1000 employees
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Processing salaries and standard allowances
  • Change of Conditions, terminations and incentive payments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Federal and State legislation
  • Administration and reconciliation of employee leave entitlements as well as employee deductions including payments to external parties
  • Responding to employee queries in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Administration of employee superannuation in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Maintaining confidentiality of payroll data with respect to privacy legislation
  • Ad hoc duties as required

THE ROLE

  • Accurate interpretation and entering of timesheets into SAP for up to 400 employees.
  • Ensuring all timesheets have been received and all employees have been accounted for.
  • Liaising with appropriate personnel to resolve missing timesheets.
  • Answering payroll queries for weekly staff in an informative and friendly manner.
  • Monitoring and reporting on missing timesheets to management.
  • Performing payroll related duties as requested by the Finance Manager or Finance Officer.
