Description:
We are looking for individuals interested in accounting/bookkeeping who are excellent in customer service, confident in data entry, and desire a career path in this field.
About the role:
- Your duties will include:
- Ensure accurate and timely payment for all employees
- Timely reporting for internal and external requirements
- Verify correctness of submitted paperwork (e.g., bank details, tax forms)
- Accounts Payable – processing invoices; preparing and processing creditor payments; filing and maintain supplier records; end of month reconciling;
- Accounts Receivable – debt control including using automated AR reminder system, calling clients, organising payment plans, liaising with external debt collection agencies and/or solicitors as required
- Credit card expense processing and reconciliation
- End of month Debtor reporting and reconciling
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for reporting
- Assist Directors, Finance Manager and Finance Controller as and where required
- Respond to payroll queries related to timesheets
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
About you:
This role could be suited to either a junior Payroll Officer or an experienced professional seeking a role with good work/life balance and friendly environment. Additionally, you have:
- Certificate IV or higher in related field
- Thorough working knowledge of payroll processes
- Proficient with creditor processing and debt collection
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
