We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join a growing local business. As a crucial member of the team, you will assist in the manual processing to ensure the fortnightly payroll can run smoothly.
About the role:

Providing support to another payroll officer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Setting up new employees in the system
  • Answering payroll inquiries and managing payroll inbox
  • Setting up staff super, tax and bank details
  • Maintaining and keeping staff details up to date ensuring accuracy
  • Assist in the creation of staff contracts as needed
  • Provide other assistance as required

About you:

To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a payroll position
  • Experience with Micropay and/or Kronos
  • Ability to work in a team and take instruction
  • Understanding of Microsoft packages
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Willingness to learn
