We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join a growing local business. As a crucial member of the team, you will assist in the manual processing to ensure the fortnightly payroll can run smoothly.
About the role:
Providing support to another payroll officer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Setting up new employees in the system
- Answering payroll inquiries and managing payroll inbox
- Setting up staff super, tax and bank details
- Maintaining and keeping staff details up to date ensuring accuracy
- Assist in the creation of staff contracts as needed
- Provide other assistance as required
About you:
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a payroll position
- Experience with Micropay and/or Kronos
- Ability to work in a team and take instruction
- Understanding of Microsoft packages
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Willingness to learn
