Payroll - Payroll Processing - Payroll Officer - Immediate Start
Located in the Western suburbs and offering a hybrid working model! We are working with a dynamic business operating multiple companies under one umbrella. They are striving for excellence in all aspects of operations and as part of their commitment to their employees, we are seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join the team. You will be contributing to the seamless processing of all payroll functions across the group of companies and reporting to the Payroll Manager.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll
  • Proficiency in utilising various payroll systems and software
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll preparation for multiple group companies
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with diverse payroll tasks as required
  • Methodical and timely processing of all payroll transactions from various source data
  • Utilising awards and EBA knowledge
  • Process on-boarding, off-boarding and cross-boarding staff within multiple companies
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to optimise operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of payroll systems to guarantee correct staff payments
  • Monthly financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Serve as a communication liaison between the organisation, clients, employees via telephone daily
