Payroll Project Lead

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroller to be heavily involved in an exciting project at a market leading organisation
Robert Half are proud to be working with an exciting and well-known not-for-profit organisation based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.
Our client is an industry leader within Australia who value their staff and offer flexible (hybrid work from home) working conditions.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, however there is a high chance of the position turning in to a permanent opportunity.

THE ROLE:

• Key involvement in implementing the organisation’s new payroll system
• Working closely with multiple stakeholders to gather information to benefit the system implementation
• Risk management
• Develop a run-sheet for the payroll process in the new pay system
• Implement enhancements to streamline payroll processes and increase efficiency
• Payroll Audits
• Reconcile and remediate any past pay discrepancies

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role, as well as strong communication skills. The following attributes are also highly advantageous:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
• Previous experience implementing a new system
