Job Description: The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling confidential information with integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in payroll software (Paylocity, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and direct deposits.
- Calculate and process employee hours, overtime, and bonuses.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of payroll taxes and other deductions.
- Handle payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and benefits administration.
- Work closely with our CPA and CFA Finance Controller.
