KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll-related labour law, salary calculation, social insurance, and personal income tax.
  • Excellent ability to attend to detail and reach deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language.
  • Strong computer literacy.Degree in economics, law, or a related field or equivalent knowledge acquired in whatever way.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to take your career to the next level? one.com is seeking a dynamic Payroll Specialist to manage the monthly payroll for over 200+ employees in Denmark using the Zenegy payroll system.
You will be based out of our Copenhagen office.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Oversee and streamline end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring full compliance with HR and legal regulations.
Provide expert assistance on payroll queries, tax issues, the Danish Holiday Act, and various agreements. Maintain adherence to national laws and internal company policies.
Where applicable suggest and implement improvements to the payroll procedure.
As the primary payroll contact for other parts of the group regarding payroll in DK, you will liaise with the payroll supplier, Danish Tax Agency, and pension providers. You will work closely with P&C and others to address payroll concerns from managers and employees.
Over time this role might expand and also include other regions payroll and related responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Have full responsibility for payroll end to end and ensure that it gets right every time!
  • Develop the procedure for an effective payroll output in the designated region
  • Business Support: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality business support.
  • Process Supervision: Oversee employment processes, contract management, salary calculations, time records, Social Fund management, social insurance settlements, personal tax assessments, and data protection.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with regulatory changes and adapt company policies accordingly.
  • System Management: Ensure the personnel system is set correctly according to legal requirements and manage Personnel system data.
  • Indicator Reporting: Supervise the reporting of HR and payroll indicators to management.Benefits Management: Oversee the implementation and development of employee benefits into Payroll
