JOB DESCRIPTION

The Three Bears Alaska Payroll Department is seeking a Payroll Specialist.
The Payroll Specialist is a pivotal member of the Three Bears Alaska team. This position will assist and manage weekly payroll processing and maintain employee records. This position also supports the human resources department with other employee relation functions as necessary and as assigned.
A successful candidate understands and performs their duties in a self-starting, effective, and efficient manner. They will work directly with Store Management, HR/Payroll personnel, the Corporate Team, and all other individuals necessary to complete the job. This individual will report to the HR Supervisor.
This role requires both independent and team-oriented work. As a member of the Payroll Department, it is imperative that tasks are completed in a timely manner and, at times, with minimal supervision. You must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professionalism and confidentiality are of utmost importance in this position.
Previous experience in payroll and handling confidential information is required. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Knowledge of ADP and human resources is preferred.
Pay Range: Starting from $50,000 per year (dependent upon experience and education)
