Description:

Yardi is currently seeking a diligent Payroll Specialist to join our team, focusing on the high-volume, multi-state biweekly payroll processing. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of employee timesheet data, manage payroll-related calculations including taxes and benefits, and address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues. Responsibilities also include onboarding new hires, processing terminations, and maintaining sensitive data with the utmost confidentiality. Your expertise will support our dynamic team in delivering precise payroll services, enhancing employee satisfaction, and upholding our company’s standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Verifies employee timesheet data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws.
  • Assists with processing taxes, deductions, 401k, benefits, and other payroll-related calculations.
  • Enters employee payroll data and processes changes, including address changes, direct deposit updates, rate changes, tax changes, following company policies and procedures.
  • Answers general employee questions regarding their pay statement; escalates complex questions to senior team members.
  • Processes new hires and terminations, calculates and prepares final payments for employee terminations.
  • Responds to verification of employment requests.
  • Processes garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and quarterly wage verifications
  • Exercises and maintains a high-level of discretion and confidentiality.
