At Johnson & Johnson, we are seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst in Ciudad Juarez for a fixed-term position for 1 year.
The senior payroll analyst is responsible for processing payments to associates, supporting the maintenance and processing of payroll, as well as keeping the database and files up to date.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for maintaining data and processing payroll for company employees.
  • Prepares payroll payment transfers.
  • Creates templates for manual payroll incident loading.
  • Keeps payroll files up to date.
  • Calculates payroll differences and makes adjustments.
  • Schedules and coordinates payroll payments with external providers.
  • Ensures timely payment of tax obligations related to payroll.
  • Prepares monthly reports for ISR, INFONAVIT, SAR, and ISN.
  • Prepares FONACOT report and payment.
  • Develops improvement procedures related to assignments.
  • Provides support on special projects.
  • Develops and maintains procedures and work processes related to assigned tasks, including Sarbanes & Oxley internal controls.
  • Clarifies doubts regarding payment.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and regulations, whether local, state, or federal, as well as Safety and Environmental Health, GMPs, ISO, etc.
  • Responsible for generating, printing, and delivering payroll receipts, as well as filing them.
  • Prepares required payroll reports.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related matters or opportunities to the next level of management.
  • For those who supervise or manage personnel, they are responsible for ensuring that subordinates adhere to all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environment practices, and that all necessary resources to do so are available and in good condition, where applicable.
  • They are responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, policies, and procedures of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Internship and/or degree in accounting, business administration, or related fields.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Basic Intermediate English level.
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Judgment and reasoning skills.
  • Tax update.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Accounting Systems, etc.
