Responsibilities:

  • Manage the local payroll team (4 employees)
  • Support Payroll Specialist in providing accurate and timely payrolls for more than 3000
  • employees.
  • Ensure appropriate workload allocation, knowledge sharing and instil a culture of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service.
  • Be responsible for data validation and resolving discrepancies within tight deadlines.
  • Manage detailed payroll check lists and prepare for Manager review at submission, pre-approval, month end and quarter end stages.
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders and global payroll providers with focus on the accuracy and timely preparation of payroll reports;
  • Coordinate payroll approvals & payments instructions with the Finance team;
  • Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations, GL, accrual reports;
  • Attend to payroll specific queries from employees;
  • Reply to tax notices, wage orders, unemployment claims, government correspondences, and verification of employments for international entities;
  • Stay up to date with local payroll regulations;
  • Support various internal and external audits;
  • Responsible for statutory submissions
  • Provide payroll feedback and data when required to support ongoing HR projects and
  • benefits;
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training exercises
  • Be part of a global payroll team
