WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Keen interest in pursuing a career within payroll services
  • IT skills, with some experience of Microsoft Excel and Outlook desirable
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and an inquisitive nature
  • Confident in seeking support when needed and highly responsive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will spend 12 months in our training programme learning the basics of UK payroll and pension legislation, technology and professional services processes
  • You will be 1 of 4 trainees and will spend time learning within your group, aswell as on the job training within an assigned team
  • Later in the year, you will begin to receive a small assignment of client payrolls to develop your client relationship skills and independently managing a portfolio
  • No experience of payroll or pension is required
  • Some experience of providing good customer service is desirable
  • After 12 months, we will provide support and access to complete an external qualification in UK Payroll with the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals
  • You can be based from Birmingham or Manchester and will be expected to attend the office minimum 2 days per week
