Job Title: PCU, IMC (Intermediate Care) Nurse
Job Summary:
The PCU, IMC Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, ensuring that they receive optimal medical treatment and support. This role requires a high level of skill and expertise in caring for patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Monitor and assess patients’ condition, making necessary adjustments to their care plan
  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or IMC setting
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
