Description:
A leading PE fund house is looking for a portfolio analyst to join their Singapore office. This position will play a vital part to support firm’s investment portfolio valuation, portoflio reporting, and investor reporting. Candidates with strong technical ability in valuations are highly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, portfolio management, or data analysis within the private investment space.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of portfolio valuations, including financial modeling, data analysis, and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely valuation reporting.
- Maintain documentation and records related to valuation methodologies, assumptions, and key inputs.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reports, including performance analysis, data visualizations, and portfolio updates.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting processes, data analysis tools, and templates.
