Serving as a focal point for pediatric services throughout the community, CHRISTUS Children’s in San Antonio is a world-class children’s hospital - both inside and out. The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a full-time pediatric cardiology faculty position at CHRISTUS Children’s. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the department of pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package. The candidates’ credentials and experience will determine the rank of the academic appointment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- M.D. degree.
- Related experience required.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same).
- Board certification in General Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics (or eligible for same).

Responsibilities:
Clinical duties include patient care responsibilities and outpatient clinic at CHRISTUS Children’s. Faculty teaching responsibilities include direct clinical supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and other students in related fields (e.g., nursing students, dietary students, pharmacy students), who observe the physician directly in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
