SUMMARY

Multiple Neuropsychology Positions:
Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine
The Neuropsychology Program in the Psychology Division, Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital are significantly expanding clinical services. We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of several new faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, with a clinician-educator focus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking pediatric neuropsychologists with interest and expertise in the following specialty areas:

  • Hematology/Oncology
  • Epilepsy and Epilepsy Surgery
  • Rehabilitation and Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Early Childhood Assessment
  • Multicultural Neuropsychology and Bilingual Neuropsychological Assessment

While most evaluations are conducted on an outpatient basis, there is a growing need for inpatient consultation services and participation in multidisciplinary teams. Approximately 75% psychometrician support is provided for outpatient evaluations.
These neuropsychology positions involve teaching and supervision of neuropsychology post-doctoral fellows within our APPCN-member fellowship program and of interns in our APA- approved internship program. In addition, all BCM faculty members are expected to contribute to the College’s academic mission. Both independent and collaborative research/scholarship opportunities are available through partnership with other Division members, as well as our subspecialty partners.
