SUMMARY

The Baylor College of Medicine Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is pleased to announce job openings for inpatient faculty positions at Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH). We have opportunities available for our Medical Center Campus located in the largest medical center in the world, the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas and at Texas Children’s West Campus, our free-standing children’s hospital in Katy, Texas. This is an opportunity to join a diverse group of dynamic hospitalists that have interests in family-centered care, clinical research, teaching, quality improvement and patient safety.
Potential candidates must be BC/BE in Pediatrics and are expected to have excellent communication and time management skills and exhibit a willingness to provide clinical supervision and didactic education to medical students as well as house staff from the largest pediatric residency program in the nation. Candidates who are BC/BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine are preferred but is not a requirement. Our division is committed to faculty development with many opportunities for research, administrative experience, and academic advancement. Mentorship is available from colleagues with varied career interests, both within our division and across our institution. In addition, faculty development opportunities are offered through the centers for education, quality improvement, and research within Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. This position also offers the opportunity to interact and collaborate with world-renowned subspecialists, while caring for patients with varied medical conditions and unusual presentations. We also offer unique clinical programs such as our dedicated inpatient complex care team and our newly established inpatient behavioral health team. Salary will be decided by level of experience.
