WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
The RFS are seeking a Peer Support Program Coordinator to lead, centrally coordinate and manage the State-wide service delivery of our valued and well-established Peer Support Program for the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) membership (staff and volunteers). The RFS Peer Support Program is integral in our approach to wellbeing support, complementing our other pathways to care from the Mental Health Services team.
TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:
- High level communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills in liaising with key stakeholders to negotiate successful outcomes on sensitive and complex issues
- Program management and coordination with strong organisation leadership and administrationSuccessful management of competing demands in a high-volume work environment (preferred)
