Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic team of People (HR) professionals based at Seaton Delaval, Whitley Bay in an People (HR) Advisor role. We are seeking a motivated and conscientious individual to work within our fast-paced Operational People (HR) Team.
This role is pivotal in supporting the provision of a high-quality People (HR) service that is focussed on supporting staff across the organisation to achieve outcomes in line with the vision and values of the Trust.
The post will be based at Seaton Delaval, Whitley Bay, however the post holder will be required to work at other sites within the Trust on a regular basis. Ability to meet these travel requirement is therefore essential. Blended/flexible working is supported by the Trust.
You will be the first point of contact providing advice and support to line managers and employees across a range of employee relations matters, including:
Management of attendance;
Terms and conditions of employment;
Conduct and capability;
Grievance;
Performance Management;
Change Management;
Retention and Redeployment;
Dignity at Work.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. High quality patient care is at the heart of everything we do and we strive to ensure every single patient and service user has an exceptional experience with us. We have one of the most extensive patient experience programmes of any trust in England.
The successful candidate will have an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of managers and staff, have experience of analysing situations in order to advise on an appropriate course of action and an ability to organise their own workload to meet service needs and competing deadlines.
