Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing person to take on the role of People and Culture Ambassador at SSi Canada. This position is accountable for recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee well-being. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in the recruitment and management of people, and the stewardship of a strong corporate culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven leadership experience with the desire and ability to lead a team.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent English language skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Hiring:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.

Onboarding and Training:

  • Oversee onboarding programs to integrate new employees seamlessly into the organization.
  • Coordinate job-specific training sessions for new hires and existing employees.

Employee Engagement and Well-being:

  • Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement and well-being, including wellness programs, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Implement and oversee performance management solutions to evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and set goals for progression.

Office Support:

  • Provide administrative support oversight and direction to ensure the office runs efficiently, and convivial interaction with visitors and employees.
