THE OPPORTUNITY

Catch is currently seeking a Senior P&C Advisor to partner with the various business units across Catch. In this role, you will proactively deliver a customer focused P&C service for Catch team members and leaders at the Fulfilment Centre both in Victoria and New South Wales. Meeting current and future business needs, partnering with managers to advise them of people initiatives, policies, practices and support executing the people strategy.

  • Degree qualified, additional studies of specialist areas a nice to have
  • Demonstrable operational HR Generalist experience
  • Solid IR/ER experience
  • An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Resilient, and solutions oriented; able to deliver impactful advice to leaders individually and in group settings
  • Comfortable delivering workshops and engagement sessions
  • Comfortable working autonomously but a strong team player, who collaborates and shares willingly and generously.
  • Ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experience.

Responsibilities:

What does a normal day in the life of a Senior P&C Advisor look like? Well, no 2 days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your day to include some of the following things:

  • Proactively partner with people leaders to create an amazing employee experience for our Fulfilment Centre team members at all sites.
  • Provide advice to leaders on team matters including IR/ER, policy, legislation and people issues.
  • Partner with the business to ensure the growth of people leaders, with a focus on performance, development and coaching.
  • Support the execution of the cyclical P&C activities for the FC’s collaborating with leaders to educate, coach and deliver on requirements.
  • Contribute to the action planning and implementation of strategies to embed Catch’s values-based culture to engage and inspire the team
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes to ensure that all systems and processes are fit for purpose.
  • Provide proactive, professional first level advice and practical experience on employee relations issues including employment, performance management, absence, discipline and grievance matters.
  • Escalate the complex policy and employee issues and appropriately brief the Partnering team for effortless transition.
  • Highlight trends in queries to identify gaps in capability or education needed for people and leaders.
  • Support the nurturing of organisational culture through leading by example, illustrating the link to relevant programs and activities and individual role designs
