We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and build their skills. Who is proactive and demonstrates strengths in attention to detail, time management, and critical thinking and exercises strong judgement and discretion. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience with a degree or diploma in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft suite applications.
Experience using an HRIS platform is considered an asset.

We’re looking for a People & Culture Analyst to join our team at Hillberg & Berk! WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THIS ROLE?

Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of HR topics in this generalist role, with job duties that include;

  • Executing the recruitment and retention strategy for Hillberg & Berk through developing jobs ads, scheduling and attending interviews, preparing job offers and supporting the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Providing administrative support to projects and initiatives that focus on employee engagement and experience, total rewards, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development and more
  • Building positive, collaborative and trusting relationships with Leaders and Employees.
  • Advising Leaders in alignment with H&B’s values, policies, programs and philosophies.
  • Communications and administration of our employee engagement survey and empowerment planning processes.
  • Supporting our learning and development calendar by scheduling training, tracking attendance, preparing training material and co-facilitating training.
  • Preparing internal communication for leaders and employees
  • Maintaining and updating our employee records to ensure accuracy and accessibility for the People & Culture team.
  • Researching and providing recommendations to P&C leaders for enhancing our current policies and processes based on best practices and workplace trends

As a People & Culture Analyst, you are an adaptable and collaborative person, who is excited to work alongside a team who is passionate about delivering quality services and programs to a growing and agile organization.
Salary Range: $47,595 to $68,491
The broadband pay range is based on the advertised position’s job level. The salary provided to the incumbent will be based on their years of professional experience, level of education and applicable knowledge and skills
