  • Travel within SA metropolitan area to visit portfolio groups as required

Responsibilities:

The People and Culture Business Partner plays an important role in assisting their portfolio in a range of human resource management responsibilities, by providing advice, coaching and support to leaders on people management matters. You will build collaborative partnerships across the organisation and deliver accurate, timely and high value service that supports the delivery of the business objectives of the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Be a trusted business partner and provide contemporary human resources advice and support across all elements of the employment lifecycle.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice on employment policies and procedures, as well as support broader people and culture matters such as team structure and workforce planning.
  • Provide operational performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, counselling, investigations, disciplinary actions), and support positive change in the management of people.
  • Facilitate and promote a values driven workplace culture and build strong relationships to successfully engage with people across all levels of the organisation to support the delivery of the Strategic Plan.
  • Coach and mentor leaders at all levels of the organisation in people and culture matters.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes and accurately interpret relevant legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements to assist leaders and people.Actively participate in initiatives and continuous improvement activities as required.

  • Your portfolio will support our Care Pathways teams who provide care and support to young people aged between five and 18 who require 24/7 care away from their families, or who arrive in Australia without a legal guardian. Many of these young people have disabilities and mental health challenges, requiring therapeutic support and ongoing care to lead a happy, healthy life.
