The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a People & Culture Generalist (Human Resources) who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • At least one year of experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture capacity.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Proficient with using office equipment, computer and programs not limited to (Workday, Microsoft Word, Windows, Birchstreet, copy machine, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Drive, Yammer and Canva).
  • Ability to multitask and deliver exceptional service at high volumes in a timely manner and by deadlines.
  • Creative, able to adapt to change and lead change.
    Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist employees with HR related inquiries, including but not limited to general questions, benefits, leave of absence, payroll, policies/procedures.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, leave of absences, training, labor.
  • Must be able to conduct and facilitate trainings.
  • Manage core HR processes within HR Information Systems, including new hires, transfers, promotions, and compensation changes.
  • Coordinate employee recognition events.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation (Embark)
  • Maintain and update all employee personnel records.
  • Comply with all relevant laws regarding reporting and records retention.
  • Maintain and update employee communications including information boards and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture team to implement HR initiatives.
  • Perform administrative skills such as typing, filing, copying, faxing, and answering telephones according to Four Seasons standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information in the department including conversations, personal information, and medical files.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors and managers.
