Description:

Oxygen8, https://oxygen8.ca/ designs and manufactures ventilation solutions that provide 100% fresh, filtered outside air to building occupants. Our product lines include high-efficiency energy-recovery, MERV-13 filtration, and integration with Daikin VRV heat-pump technology for heating and cooling.
We are hiring a People & Culture Admin Assistant to join us on our mission to provide 100% fresh, filtered air and smart technology for maximum comfort and value. This position will work closely with other departments and will be based out of our production facility office in Vancouver, BC.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Post Secondary Education in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in an office administration role.
  • Solid computer skills (MS Office, SQL, Sage 300, ERP experience an advantage).
  • Review and fact-checking skills and accuracy in documentation with a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
    Annual Salary: $65,000 to $72,500 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage co-op student recruitment and initiate internal recruitment process.
  • Onboard new employees including pre-hire tasks, orientations, processing all first-day documents, and following up after probation period.
  • Coordinate the offboarding process and employee leaves.
  • Process paperwork and administration of employee files, letters, and handbook updates.
  • Maintain employee files, soft and hard copies.
  • Support with the administration of company benefits.
  • Participate in OHS as a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
  • Assist in the implementation of P&C projects, process improvements, training, and other initiatives.
  • Other duties as required.
