    About the Role
    AECOM’s People and Culture Team are looking for a Business Partner Lead for our NSW and ACT (NAC) region with 800 people. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, Australia, this role is relied on to:
  • Be a trusted Business Partner with assigned client groups to provide and drive People and Culture services
  • Lead a small regional team of People and Culture Business Partners
  • Support the ongoing development of a high performing regional leadership team who actively and positively lead culture and cultural change
  • Be an active peer on the NAC regional leadership team
  • Be a trusted advisor to the Regional Managing Director, NAC
    In addition to partnering with business leaders, you will work as part of a core team of People and Culture specialists across Australia and New Zealand, actively contributing to the development and operationalising of our People and Culture agenda, and implementation of our Global and Regional HR Strategies including:
  • Employee relations
  • Performance and rewards
  • Talent Management and building leadership capability
  • Facilitating and supporting change management
  • Leading and supporting People and Culture projects
  • Shaping and driving culture
  • Constantly working to elevate a positive employee experience
    Qualifications
  • An all rounded generalist background ideally in professional services
  • Proven experience in senior level facilitation skills
  • Ability to engage & influence with senior leaders
  • Experience in enabling collective success through collaboration, trust, autonomy, accountability and alignment
  • Ability to lead with empathy, humility, respect and courage
  • Have a coaching and adaptive leadership style, aligning to the needs and seniority of the Business Partners
  • Exceptional technical subject matter expertise (particularly regarding risk management within the HR arena)
