Douglas is one of New Zealand’s greatest pharmaceutical success stories with an ever-expanding footprint into global markets. Privately owned, we are working to develop, trial, manufacture, test, pack and distribute the very best medicines, nutraceuticals, and products around the world.
At Douglas there are around 650 of us - including top scientists, researchers, manufacturers, regulators, supply chain professionals and engineers, and together we are on a mission to make high quality, effective and accessible products for people who need it.
We are helping people with conditions like depression, schizophrenia, breast cancer, heart failure, severe acne, as well as people who need antibiotics and medicines to support their immune system.
We are keen to find a People Experience Consultant to join our awesome People & Culture (P&C) team.

You will evolve and support the “Culture of Success” strategy and plan to ensure we have highly engaged people, driving high performance.
We have a Culture Champion movement here, and you will lead and support this group of passionate advocates to drive collaboration and connection in the projects that this group are leading. Some of the awesome work that has come out of Culture Champions are employee benefits refresh, quarterly sports tournaments and surprise and delight events.
Diversity and inclusion is important to us. We have around 650 people working here, from 51 nationalities and millions of patients using our products in 135 countries. You will own the strategy and plan, design programmes and events that build understanding and kindness. Some of the events we celebrate here are Matariki, Diwali, Lunar New Year and Pink Shirt Day.
You will be driving the wellbeing strategy and plan, support the execution of our wider reward and recognition programmes.
You will plan and deliver aligned and intentionally strategic communications, through multiple channels, using a consistent tone of voice and language.
