Preferred profiles and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, administration, psychology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR areas. Experience in People Journey & Experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and procedures, industry trends, standards, and best practices.
  • Broad understanding of different HR functions such as Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning and Talent.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Bilingual english-spanish
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skill

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The People Experience Lead is responsible for creating and executing impactful engagement and employment retention programs and practices that meet employee needs throughout their employee life cycle at AES. This position will connect with employee key touchpoints including pre-orientation, onboarding and throughout all the stages of the work path. This position understands the voice of the employee, and identifies opportunities that will help drive employee satisfaction, retention, and performance through virtual, hybrid and in-person activities. This role will partner cross-functionally within the Human Resources & COE teams and across various departments to lead exciting work-life & engagement opportunities to create meaningful employee experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the People Journey and Experience strategy, executing programs, processes and projects at a global and local level.
  • Design and iterate programs and processes to create amazing “moments that matter” across the employee journey, and solutions to “pain moments” identified during the journey
  • Pilot new programs to create a compelling employee value proposition.
  • Execute proactive employee engagement communications and planning across all offices and levels.
  • Facilitate the employee orientation program, in conjunction with the Learning Consultant, including pre-orientation process, facilitating on-boarding orientation sessions – and units (including academic units). This includes delivering the sessions virtually or in-person (as applicable).
  • Review and renew existing employee´s interactions with the organization, by designing, co-creating experiences, and measuring the impact of the initiatives implemented over turnover, retention, and other KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the company’s internal stakeholders so that organizational policies are effective and correctly carried out.
  • Gather data, analyze reports to understand trends, and identify areas of opportunity to advance the HR function; advise unit leaders on best practices to engage and retain employees.
  • Analyze the data and propose actions to enhance the onboarding of the new employees and talents transfer to new positions. Refine first year communication process with new employees to ensure needs are being met and concerns or challenges are identified early.
  • Analyze the culture and atmosphere in the workplace.
  • Address our people feedback and develop ways to improve company operations.
  • Specialize in creating and maintaining a positive, rewarding work environment.
  • Engage employees by creating opportunities for regular interaction and employee participation in communication channels.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $48.800 and $62.220/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
