As a People Lead, you will ensure the capabilities, performance, training requirements, career planning, and development needs are catered for to build a high-performance and ‘can do’ culture. In conjunction with providing support and leadership, the People Lead provides coaching and mentoring to the staff within the team through the promotion of appropriate business area culture, policy, processes, and standard practices, as well as assisting them in planning and supporting their career progression.
The People Lead with work with relevant stakeholders to develop fit-for-purpose and effective workforce management to meet the demand of the business. This includes the implementation of those plans, covering recruitment, diversity development, onboarding, and offboarding of people within the team, as needed.
This role will suit someone who has a demonstratable passion for people development to achieve excellence in their craft.
Na tōu rourou | What will you bring?
- 5+ years of people management skills in a previous role, with a strong previous experience in developing, and maturing a craft
- 6+ years’ previous experience in a Senior business analyst role with a strong delivery record, including large-scale enterprise transformation change initiatives preferable
- Outstanding people leadership skills, ability to develop high-performing teams and take people on a journey
- Great understanding and knowledge of business analysis practices, and ability to improve practice maturity preferred
- Strong coach, mentor, and ability to grow and develop both teams and individuals
- A growth mindset with the ability to drive change through a large organisation using multi-modal approaches
- Agile mindset – adaptable to change, and collaboration, maintains focus on continuous improvement, and continuous delivery of business and customer value
- Experience working in the complex services industry (Banking, Insurance, Payments, Utilities or Public services would be advantageous)
- Experience working in the space between business and technology and being able to articulate customer outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills to guide individuals to fast and effective outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
