POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a People Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting our growing team across a variety of people functions, while working closely with the Chief of Staff on overall people and culture initiatives. You’ll primarily lead recruiting efforts and support the Chief of Staff with onboarding some HR functions.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 4-6+ years on a People Ops/HR team, with 2+ years direct experience in recruiting for entry to mid-level roles.
- Experience as an admin with HRIS systems (Rippling experience a plus).
- Familiarity with benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills with proficiency in Google Suite and Trello (or other project management software)
- Comfort with learning and using different tools and platforms, with a knack for learning new technologies quickly.
- Established business maturity, with the ability to independently make prudent, well-informed decisions and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
- Recruiting. Be a creative, effective, and insatiable recruiter of great people and talent.
- Hiring. Support hiring managers across the company with recruiting efforts. You will conduct phone screens, review applicants, and think creatively about where our job posts live. You will draft offer letters and manage the pre-onboarding process for all new employees.
- Onboarding. You will be supporting our team’s growth through refining, leading, and supporting onboarding initiatives. These include sending, tracking, and analyzing new hire surveys and Learning Targets.
- Project Manage our People routines. You will support and/or lead our Quarterly Housekeeping routine, annual performance review routine, and support the weekly celebration of birthdays and anniversaries.
- Human Resources. You’ll become another resident expert of our HRIS system, Rippling, so that you can support HR-needs tracking compliance training completion and answering employee questions.
