Job Description
We are looking to find a People Operations Team Lead to join our People & Culture team to support mainly the Austrian business. In this role, you support with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, as well as ensuring a positive employee experience. This role involves managing a team, driving HR initiatives, and supporting the overall organizational goals by fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. Moreover, this involves leading a team of currently 3 Specialists, through an ongoing P&C-wide change process. You will ensure effective communication, continuous improvement, alignment with organizational goals and emphasize the aspect of guiding people through transitions.
This role is initially planned as a 12-month fixed term contract, and will provide an excellent opportunity to work within a diverse, international company where you will have the opportunity to learn and be supported with your development.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR Experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Experience in handling employee relations cases (performance or conduct cases, conflict resolution) in an HR function or as coach

SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Austrian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR management software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This position may require occasional travel within Austria.
  • Hybrid work arrangements in line with company policy.
