Description:
Want to help service users and carers across North East London shape and improve mental health services?
In this role, you will help to support the Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism Collaborative (ELFT and NELFT) in its purpose to bring together clinical, lived experience and operational leaders across health, social care, the voluntary sector and other agencies to improve outcomes, experience and value for people with mental health needs.
By supporting service users and carers to get involved, raise their voice and participate in a range of priority led change projects across both trusts, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the very people who use mental health services across North East London are able to have a say in its future and a hand in its success.

Responsibilities:
To support service users and carers in developing their own skills and confidences toward their goals and aspirations through participation.
To ensure service user and carer voices are listened to and heard in the Collaborative.
To support the People Participation Lead in developing and maintaining a pool of service users and carers with relevant lived experience - working in partnership with others – to enable effective involvement in the Collaborative
To work alongside carers, carer support groups
To support joint working between the two Trusts (NELFT & ELFT), the voluntary sector and the user/carer movement
