Hull University Teaching Hospitals is delighted to have been chosen as a ‘People Promise Exemplar’ site. We’re now seeking a talented ‘People Promise Manager’ who will play a vital role in making a difference for our staff as we move forward with our new Group Structure.

This is a role that will allow you to help us understand what else do we need to do to improve our staff experience, ensure we not only recruit but retain our staff and ensure we have a culture that thrives on compassion, inclusion and exellence for all our services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about improving employee experience to be involved in an NHS England sponsored programme to deliver key projects to enhance employee experience & retention.
The role is responsible for advocating and promoting the People Promise commitments which will support our colleagues to thrive in their careers.
Overall the postholder will help us to develop a robust project plan to co-ordinate and manage the embedding of all aspects of the NHS People Promise into the organisation thereby improving staff experience to reduce the numbers of all staff leaving the NHS
The role will need to build positive professional relationships with a wide range of groups and work autonomously to deliver against people related KPI’s and enact transformational change across the Trust.
The post will sit with the Workforce and Organisational Development Directorate and will get the chance to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders. The post holder will report to the Group Director of Planning, Recruitment, Wellbeing and Improvement. In addtion our other Group Hospital Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Foundation Trust has also been succesful in becoming and exemplar site, so you will also work closely with their People Promise Manager as well as the Local ICB Lead.
Hull University Teaching Hospitals is part of one of the largest acute and community Group arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.
