We are currently looking for a People Strategy Manager to join our People team and support our Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) in advancing our people initiatives.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Ideally you would come with 3+ years from a relevant company where you have gained exposure to working with senior stakeholders and driving projects. We imagine that the ideal candidate could be coming from a variety of past experience / roles, ranging from being a management consultant with a passion for people and talent through to being an ambitious leader who has been part of building the people organisation in a start up or scale up.

The role involves a broad scope of responsibilities; we therefore imagine that you have:

  • A relevant academic education – e.g., within Business, Economics, Human Resource Management ect.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, e.g., from consulting, people strategy / transformation, Chief of Staff, or project management role
  • A strategic mindset and strong understanding of business processes in order to establish a close connection between organizational activities and business objectives
  • Experience with organizational and people-related projects is an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Experience with working with senior leadership / management is an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Experience with and proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to present analysis and solutions to complex problems or challenges in a precise manner; experience with and proficiency in Excel is also an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • An ambitious mindset with a strong work ethic and ‘can-do’ attitude, including high attention to detail, personal maturity and the ability to work independently - and sometimes with short deadlines
  • Robust organizational and planning capabilities; experience with project management is considered an advantage

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The People Strategy Manager will be working closely with the CHRO, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our people strategy initiatives. As the CHRO’s “right-hand”, you possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional project management skills and the ability to act with confidence with senior executives. The role requires a proactive, collaborative and “hands-on” approach to support the CHRO in shaping and implementing people strategies that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
We are looking for a truly driven and independently working person with high energy and a proven ability to fill a newly established position. In the role, you will be working to help structure, implement and align people strategies with business goals. You are fast at adapting to new ways of working and dealing with different profiles, while enjoying a high level of direct senior exposure working on organizational projects and issues important to the organization.
You will be working in a high-paced environment, and with a wide range of potential tasks, giving considerable scope for learning, personal development and professional growth. Longer-term, progression in this role includes opportunities to graduate towards people management and leadership roles within the people organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • CHRO Support: Provide management support to CHRO and act as a sparring partner on people-related matters
  • CHRO Projects & Organizational Development: Support CHRO-initiated projects as a project manager, e.g., around talent management, talent attraction, and professional development pathways
  • Strategic Planning: Support the CHRO in developing and executing strategic people plans and ensuring necessary progress is monitored
  • Drive and orchestrate agendas for strategic senior management meetings within the people agenda, as well as collecting and aligning input across business units and teams
  • Ensure consistency in narratives to drive forward the strategic initiatives within the people agenda
  • Reporting: Create presentations and manage annual HR reporting requirements to management and leadership
  • Automated People Analytics (optional): Support development of people analytics and tools (e.g., Power BI) to leverage data and analytics in providing people insights and to contribute to data-driven decision-making
